Add some life to your vehicle's sound system with the Infinity Kappa 10.9t tweeters. Install these 1" textile domes — the same tweeters found in many of their popular home speakers — in an appropriate location, and add a new dimension to your music.

The tweeters handle down to 2,500 Hz, almost an octave below the tweeters in many systems, so you'll hear more definition and detail, no matter where you sit. And they offer frequency response extending all the way up to 35,000 Hz, so they'll reproduce the overtones and harmonics that add realism to your music.

Computer-optimized outboard crossovers allow only the appropriate frequencies to reach the tweeters. Infinity includes mounting hardware to install the tweeters in custom or factory locations.

Edge-driven UHF dome~- These are not commonly used W-domes, but fully edge driven domes like those found in fine home audio loudspeakers. This much larger voice coil increases power handling and provides better sonic integration with the mid-woofer.

True Four Ohms—~ All Kappa speakers feature two ohm voice coils. Original factory-installed speaker wiring in many cars is 18-22 gauge. This wire, and heating in the voice coil when power is applied, increase the impedance “seen” by the amplifier or head unit. The impedance of Kappa Speakers has been adjusted to compensate for this increase and can be safely driven by any head unit.

I-Mount (patent no. 5,859,917) tweeter mounting system ~- This well-thought-out system allows for easy and versatile installation of tweeters in each of the Infinity component system. New for 2005 is the Starfish, an accessory that allows for mounting in factory tweeter locations.
